These Terms govern access to and use of the SCOVEC website and SCOVEC Care. Last updated: 18 August 2026.
By accessing the SCOVEC website or by creating an account in, downloading or using SCOVEC Care, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you use SCOVEC Care on behalf of a nursery or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
SCOVEC builds focused software products for connected operations. SCOVEC Care is our first flagship product. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean SCOVEC.
SCOVEC Care is a nursery and childcare management platform consisting of a Nursery Owner Portal and mobile applications for teachers/staff and for parents/guardians. Depending on the features a nursery enables, it may support attendance, classroom and staff management, daily reports, activities, media sharing, announcements and messaging.
Features may differ between roles, platforms and nurseries, and may change over time.
SCOVEC Care is intended for adults: nursery owners and administrators, authorised staff, and parents/guardians. It is not intended for use by children as independent account holders. You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Accounts are typically created or approved by the nursery operating the account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
Nurseries and users retain ownership of the content they submit. You grant SCOVEC a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit and display that content solely to operate, secure and support the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and consents needed for content you submit.
SCOVEC and SCOVEC Care, including the software, design, interfaces, trademarks and documentation, are owned by SCOVEC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; no other rights are granted.
The service relies on third-party infrastructure and platform services, such as hosting, notification delivery and application distribution through mobile app stores. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
We aim to keep SCOVEC Care available and reliable, but the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Access may be affected by maintenance, updates, connectivity or events outside our control.
We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these Terms. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Where SCOVEC Care is provided to a nursery under a commercial agreement, the fees, billing cycle and payment terms are set out in that agreement between SCOVEC and the nursery. Parents/guardians and staff are not charged by SCOVEC for access to the mobile applications. No pricing is offered or implied through this website.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. SCOVEC Care supports childcare administration; it does not replace professional judgement, supervision, safeguarding duties or medical advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SCOVEC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SCOVEC and its personnel from claims, damages, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where required by law, or where necessary to protect the security or integrity of the service or its users. Nurseries may also revoke access for their own users. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion via our Contact page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law / Jurisdiction], and the courts of [Governing Law / Jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
